Chapter 6236: Immemorial God Armament Fragment

Chu Feng was overjoyed, but before he could say anything, Old Cat continued, “But I’ll need your help on something, Brother Chu Feng. I wish to repair a treasure, but it’ll require a powerful world spiritist bloodline. Can you assist Lord Zhenlong in repairing it?”

Old Cat took out a box and opened it. In it was an Ancient Era’s talisman that looked ordinary but wasn’t. This box carried the Ancient Era’s War Clan’s Clan Chief’s aura, hinting that he cherished it.

This wasn’t one of the items that the clan chief had previously shown Chu Feng, which was more than enough to show that it was more valuable than that lump of black metal.

“A damaged teleportation talisman paper?” Little Fishy asked.

“What sharp eyes you have! It is a damaged teleportation talisman paper, but it is not ordinary teleportation talisman paper. I don’t have the means to repair a teleportation talisman paper of this tier,” Lord Zhenlong said.

“Don’t worry, Lord Zhenlong. I have the reparation method,” Old Cat said as he whipped out a formation blueprint.

Lord Zhenlong’s eyes lit up. This blueprint was so ingenious that it could realize the impossible. Nevertheless, he still soon shook his head, “It will take a huge toll on young friend Chu Feng’s bloodline.”

“That’s why I need Brother Chu Feng’s help.” Old Cat turned to Chu Feng.

“This despicable old stray cat! Chu Feng, don’t help him!” Eggy was angry.

She thought Old Cat was lying about accompanying Chu Feng to the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion; he was merely trying to coax Chu Feng into repairing the teleportation talisman paper.

Instead of answering the question, Chu Feng asked, “Old Cat, you said that I can have all their treasures, so why are you hiding the good stuff?”

With a wave of his sleeve, Old Cat swooped all the treasures in the sky into a Cosmos Sack and handed it to Chu Feng. “Brother Chu Feng, all the treasures are here. You can have it all if you want. I always keep my promises.”

He handed the Cosmos Sack to Chu Feng.

“I don’t need these, and I’m willing to help you repair your damaged teleportation talisman paper either, but I have a small request. Can you hand that black metal lump to me?” Chu Feng got to the point.

“Black metal lump? Is this it?” Old Cat whipped out a black metal lump with a flick of his wrist.

That was indeed what Chu Feng wanted.

“That’s right.” Chu Feng nodded.

“This is a fragment of an Immemorial God Armament,” Old Cat said.

“Immemorial God Armament?” Chu Feng was taken aback.

“Immemorial God Armaments are nothing like the God Armaments you know; they are separate things. You’ll know it in due time.”

“Can you give it to me? I need it.”

“Brother Chu Feng, I can’t give it to you. It is mine. I promised to give you all of the War Clan’s possessions, but I ought to keep my stuff, no?” Old Cat asked.

It was a fair but shameless statement. Chu Feng figured that the chances of Old Cat double-crossing him were high, so he asked, “You don’t want to repair this talisman paper anymore?”

“Brother Chu Feng, I truly can’t give that to you. Rest assured. As long as you and Lord Zhenlong try your best to repair the talisman paper, I’ll accompany you to the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion. Also, you should have this.” Old Cat stowed away the black metal lump and took out a bundle of aura.

It was the Ancient Era’s War Clan’s Nine Secret Skills.

“These secret skills were forged out of the treasure I gave the War Clan back then, but that trash, Zhan Fengdan, could not withstand the full might of the secret skills, so he divided them into many portions. The secret skills I have put together now might pale far compared to Zhan Fengdan’s, but it is far superior to those owned by the other War Clansmen. I shall hand them to you now.

“A reminder—the energy in these secret skills is not to be underestimated. Tell me if you can’t withstand it; don’t strain yourself trying to take it in,” Old Cat said as he pumped the aura into Chu Feng’s body.

Chu Feng’s face warped. He was in great pain.

“Tell me if you can’t withstand it,” Old Cat advised.

But Chu Feng squeezed out a smile and said, “Cut the bullshit and give it all to me.”

Old Cat smiled too. He had also expected Chu Feng to be able to withstand it, so he pumped all the aura into Chu Feng’s body.

Soon, Chu Feng’s body shone. He formed a hand seal and began fusing the secret skills while erasing their consciousness, retaining only the Ancient Era War Sword and Ancient Era War Axe’s consciousness. This turned the two secret skills that had once helped him into the rulers of the Nine Secret Skills.

The light soon dissipated, and Chu Feng’s complexion returned to normal.

“The secret skills aren’t too bad, right? Did I keep my promise and give the Nine Secret Skills and all the War Clan’s treasures to you?” Old Cat asked as he handed the Cosmos Sack filled with treasures over.

Chu Feng took the Cosmos Sack. The treasures inside were worth far less than what he had, for Old Cat had already swiped everything of value. Still, there was no reason to reject it. While he still had complaints, he had to concede the secret skills were not too bad.

Thus, he said, “Fine, I’ll give it a try. I’ll be counting on you, Lord Zhenlong.”

“I can only play a supporting role here. It will come down to you, young friend Chu Feng. Try your best, but don’t strain yourself. It will be terrible if you shake your foundation. I believe Old Cat will not blame you even if this fails.” Lord Zhenlong turned to Old Cat and asked, “Right?”

“Of course, of course! Lord Zhenlong is right!” Old Cat nodded profusely.

Despite his earlier casualness in addressing Lord Zhenlong, he was showing the latter a lot of respect now. This showed that Old Cat still had some principles even though his scruples might be lacking at times.

If he was truly evil, he could have coerced Chu Feng and Lord Zhenlong into doing his bidding, given that he was now stronger than them. There was no need for him to amicably negotiate with them like this.

“But we’ll have to modify the formation blueprint,” Chu Feng said.

“What are you doing, Chu Feng? My formation is…”

Old Cat tried to stop Chu Feng, but he soon froze up. Much to his shock, the formation was much smoother after undergoing modification.

Lord Zhenlong’s mouth also fell agape in shock. Even Jie Shanxian’s eyes lit up.

They didn’t think Chu Feng could further perfect such a complicated formation blueprint.

“What’s wrong?” Chu Feng turned to Old Cat.

Old Cat shot Chu Feng a thumbs up. “I just want to give you my deepest compliment.”
